Trade Air Ltd. is a Croatian charter airline based in Zagreb. It was established in April 1994, originally as a cargo airline. Over the years, the company has additionally specialized in the organization of ACMI flights, ad-hoc charter flights, chains of passenger charter flights and has a certificate for the transport of dangerous goods.

Currently, the Trade Air fleet consists of four 180-seat Airbus A320s and one 144-seat Airbus A319, which provide the ability to promptly organize various types of flights for numerous domestic and foreign clients of various profiles with an emphasis on safety, reliability and comfort. Within the PSO (Public Service Obligation) regional connectivity development program, Trade Air has leased 33-seat Saab 340 aircraft that operates scheduled flights within the Republic of Croatia.

Since our first flight, on May 22, 1995, until today, Trade Air has been successfully cooperating with a large number of companies and individuals, operating flights in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and all the way to Australia.

Our priority is safety, which along with quality is the backbone of the Trade Air business philosophy. Numerous certificates that we hold prove that our mission is to establish the highest safety standards on all our flights. Furthermore, our experienced and hard-working crew, which are trained to the highest standards, as representatives of different nationalities, speaking all world languages, will provide you an individual approach in any moment.

FOUNDATION OF TRADE AIR

In April 1994, Capt. Mihajlo Cvijin founded the airline Trade Air Ltd. with headquarters in Zagreb, Croatia.

1995
FIRST TRADE AIR'S CARGO FLIGHT

In May 1995, the first cargo flight of Trade Air was organized.

1999
FIRST TRADE AIR AIRCRAFT

The first L-410 Turbolet aircraft was purchased.

2000
INCREASING THE FLEET

During the summer of 2000, Trade Air purchased two more L-410 Turbolet aircraft

FLEET EXPANSION

Trade Air is expanding its fleet with two Fokker F100 aircraft

2005
FIRST TRADE AIR CHARTER FLIGHTS

Trade Air started with the first passenger flights utilizing F100 fleet.

2007
TRADE AIR FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA

In November 2007, Trade Air made a charter flight to Australia and a series of flights within Australia utilizing the Fokker F100.

2008
IOSA CERTIFICATION

Trade Air maintains a high quality of business and high safety standards, which is why it becomes a recognized IOSA certified company. In May 2008, Trade Air received its first IOSA certificate, which is continuously extended to this day.

2011
INCREASING THE FLEET

Trade Air includes the third Fokker F100 in its fleet.

2013
TRADE AIR INTRODUCES SCHEDULED FLIGHTS

In the summer of 2013, Trade Air started scheduled domestic flights as part of the PSO program.

2016
AIRBUS ENTERING THE TRADE AIR FLEET

In the spring of 2016, Trade Air introduces its first Airbus A320 to the fleet.

2018
TRADE AIR THE MOST SUCCESSFUL COMPANY IN CROATIA

In November 2018, Trade Air won the „ZLATNA KUNA“ award for the best medium-sized company in the Republic of Croatia.

2019
INCREASING THE FLEET

In the spring of 2019, Trade Air is increasing its fleet by purchasing another Airbus A320.

2020
STABLE BUSINESS

Trade Air successfully organizes flight operations for over 60 airlines in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Australia.

THIRD AIRBUS IN TRADE AIR COMPANY

In August 2020, a third Airbus A320, registered 9A-BTI, was delivered to Trade Air.

2021
AIRCRAFT A319 JOINS THE FLEET

Despite a pandemic affecting global industry, Trade Air acquires its fourth Airbus, this time the A319 type in July 2021 and bases it in Pristina, where it is immediately put into operations.

2022
TRADE AIR ACQUIRES THE FOURTH AIRBUS

At the beginning of the year, the entry of another aircraft into the Trade Air fleet was announced. A third A320 aircraft, 9ABTK-registered, joined the fleet in April 2022.
