In April 1994, Capt. Mihajlo Cvijin founded the airline Trade Air Ltd. with headquarters in Zagreb, Croatia.
In May 1995, the first cargo flight of Trade Air was organized.
The first L-410 Turbolet aircraft was purchased.
During the summer of 2000, Trade Air purchased two more L-410 Turbolet aircraft
Trade Air is expanding its fleet with two Fokker F100 aircraft
Trade Air started with the first passenger flights utilizing F100 fleet.
In November 2007, Trade Air made a charter flight to Australia and a series of flights within Australia utilizing the Fokker F100.
Trade Air maintains a high quality of business and high safety standards, which is why it becomes a recognized IOSA certified company. In May 2008, Trade Air received its first IOSA certificate, which is continuously extended to this day.
Trade Air includes the third Fokker F100 in its fleet.
In the summer of 2013, Trade Air started scheduled domestic flights as part of the PSO program.
In the spring of 2016, Trade Air introduces its first Airbus A320 to the fleet.
In November 2018, Trade Air won the βZLATNA KUNAβ award for the best medium-sized company in the Republic of Croatia.
In the spring of 2019, Trade Air is increasing its fleet by purchasing another Airbus A320.
Trade Air successfully organizes flight operations for over 60 airlines in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Australia.
In August 2020, a third Airbus A320, registered 9A-BTI, was delivered to Trade Air.
Despite a pandemic affecting global industry, Trade Air acquires its fourth Airbus, this time the A319 type in July 2021 and bases it in Pristina, where it is immediately put into operations.
At the beginning of the year, the entry of another aircraft into the Trade Air fleet was announced. A third A320 aircraft, 9ABTK-registered, joined the fleet in April 2022.
